MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Hurricane Isaias has left at least two people dead and hundreds of thousands without power after making landfall near Destin, Florida, as a Category 2 storm Friday night.Officials confirm one person died in Escambia County, Florida, and another in Birmingham, Alabama, after falling trees crushed homes in both communities.The storm packed 105 mph winds when the eyewall came ashore, leaving a trail of flooded roads and downed trees across the Florida Panhandle. Isaias then tracked north through Alabama, where wind speeds dropped sharply as the system moved inland, but leaving widespread outages and damage in its wake.Storm surge and flooding threats remainThe storm continued to spread rain and damaging wind gusts inland Saturday as the system moved northward away from the coast.
