
Zac Brown Band gifts 37,000 concertgoers with Margaritaville cruise vacation

BOSTON (Gray News) — Fans at a Zac Brown Band concert in Boston were surprised with a massive giveaway Sunday night.The band’s frontman, Zac Brown, told the crowd that every person in attendance would receive two tickets for a cruise.The singer said the giveaway was his way of saying “thank you” to his fans for a record-breaking 15th consecutive sold-out performance at Boston’s Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox.According to a news release, the giveaway is the largest audience gift in live entertainment history. It is valued at more than $40 million.“Tonight we’re going to do something that even Jimmy [Buffett] would say is crazy,” Brown told the crowd. “I’m buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat.
