Severe turbulence injures several flight attendants on flight heading to Los Angeles

HONOLULU (KHNL/Gray News) - Several flight attendants needed medical attention after a reported rough flight from Honolulu to Los Angeles.United Airlines flight 1157 landed safely just before 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.The pilot of the Boeing 777 told air traffic controllers that they were hit by about five seconds of turbulence during the descent and requested medical assistance at the gate.No reports of passenger injuries but four flight attendants needed medical attention and one needed to be taken to the hospital.The flight was carrying 190 passengers and 10 crew members.
