Quarter auction to benefit wildlife center

STOCK PHOTO Peace River Wildlife Center (PRWC) invites the community to a fun-filled quarter auction on Wednesday, Aug. 12, to help raise funds in support of its mission. The event will be held at Beef ‘O’ Brady s, 1105 Taylor Road, Punta Gorda. A quarter auction is a fun fundraiser that mixes a raffle, a direct sales party, and bingo. Paddle sales begin, and vendor tables open at 5:30 p.m. The auction starts at 7 p.m. Hosted by SWFL Vendors For A Cause, the quarter auction will feature exciting prize baskets provided through the generosity of local supporters and business partners. Guests may also purchase food and beverages from the restaurant s full menu and bar throughout the evening. Seating is strictly limited to 80 guests, and advance registration is required.
