DURHAM, N.C. (WBTV/Gray News) - A firefighter was killed and two others were injured while battling a fire in central North Carolina, officials said.The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation confirmed the Durham firefighter’s death and the injuries in an Oct. 8 social media post.A picture in the agency’s post showed large flames coming from the roof of a building. Investigators later said the blaze was on Marly Drive in Durham, near Highway 70.Officials said part of the building’s roof collapsed, causing the second floor to collapse.
