SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - We have two First Alert Weather Days for two completely different types of weather.SATURDAY: Beaches and Coastal First Alert Weather – High Risk of Rip Currents, High Surf, and Small Craft Advisories SaturdaySUNDAY: Morning and Midday Showers and Thunderstorms - Some heavy downpours are possible, which could create ponding or flash flooding of low-lying areasHurricane Isaias is moving inland, but its effects are still being felt across the Suncoast today. Saturday will feature bands of rain related to Isaias moving over the Florida peninsula, bringing showers and thunderstorms on and off throughout the day. Some of these storms could produce locally heavy rain, so keep an umbrella handy whether you’re heading out in the morning or afternoon. Winds will be breezy from the south near 20 mph and gusty, it will feel humid and warm.Starting Sunday night and continuing through next week, drier air will move in and stick around.
