ALAIEDON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX/Gray News) - A 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with a crash that killed two Michigan Department of Transportation workers.According to the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office, Tyler Reck is charged with two counts of reckless driving causing death and two counts of moving violation causing death in a work zone. Both are 15-year felonies.The charges stem from a May 26 crash that happened on northbound U.S. 127 near Holt Road. Investigators said Reck was driving at high speed when he lost control of his vehicle and struck two MDOT workers, killing them.Authorities identified the victims as Bruce Wagner, 51, and Steve Spenle, 49.Reck was arraigned, and a judge set a $25,000 personal recognizance bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 11 for a pre-examination conference.
